Hibernian kept up their 100% record this season with a win over Rangers, but they were made to work for it.
They took the lead in the 13th minute when Rachel McLauchlan’s deflected cross was headed in by Lia Tweedie.
A deflected McLauchlan cross finds its way to the head of Tweedie who knocks the ball into the back of the net.
Lucy Graham had a couple of good chances in the first half, but it remained 1-0 at half-time.
But two minutes into the second half, Rangers equalised through a wonderful strike from Jade Gallon from the edge of the box.
On the hour mark, Hibs’ Abi Harrison made her return from injury – but then Rangers could have taken the lead through a bizarre own goal.
Soon though, Hibs retook the lead after Kirsty Smith’s shot hit off the crossbar, and Katey Turner scored from the rebound.
Lucy Graham then had an effort cleared off the line, whilst Rangers’ Jenna Clark had a goal disallowed for offside.
