Shelley Kerr has announced her squad for Scotland’s friendlies against New Zealand in March. The two friendlies will be played at the Pinatar Football Arena in Spain and will be the final warm-up games before Scotland’s qualifier to Switzerland in April.
The main headline from the announcement is the first call-up for Abbi Grant. The Glasgow City striker was impressive last season and won the Scottish Building Society November Player of the Month as she helped City win their eleventh title-in-a-row.
Scotland’s captain Rachel Corsie returns to the squad after missing the previous friendlies due to injury, and Hibernian’s Lucy Graham also returns to the squad.
Hibernian’s Rachel Small and UPC Tavagnacco’s Lana Clelland miss out due to injury.
It has also been announced that Scotland’s qualifier against Poland on the 10th of April will be played at St Mirren Park.
