Scottish Student Sport will be entering a team into the BUCS home nations in April playing against English, Welsh and Northern Irish Students.
Stirling University’s Tommy Craig has taken up a coaching role, and is keen to get players involved who may not partake in their college or University teams but would be willing to commit to a couple of training sessions aid friendlies during February and March – as well as being able to give up a midweek to compete in the games.
There will be a financial contribution required but the vast majority of College and University Sports Unions will cover this contribution.
We are running trials over the next two weekends but anyone who cannot make these should still get in contact.
Any students interested in joining the team should fill out this form.
Previous players have included Christie Murray and Khym Ramsay who have since gained professional contracts and this represents an excellent opportunity for students to represent Scottish Student Sport against our British counterparts.
