Lesser Hampden, 30 October 2016, Kick-off: 3:30pm
The two relegated sides from the SWPL 2 meet as Queen’s Park host Inverness City at Lesser Hampden.
This match is the only one that will not play any significance in the title race, but there is pride at stake as both sides look to finish in seventh place.
Both sides have had similar problems, conceding too many goals and troubling to threaten the majority of other sides in the league.
The clubs have two wins each, and they all came against either them or at Buchan. Inverness currently lead Queen’s Park by one single point thanks to a draw with Hutchison Vale back in April.
Queen’s Park beat Inverness back in May in an epic 4-3 win whilst Inverness’ first victory of the season came back in June when they beat Buchan 2-1.
In August, Queen’s Park beat Buchan giving both sides hope of an extraordinary escape from relegation. Inverness found themselves in pole position for survival having beaten Queen’s Park 5-1 in the next game.
But since then, neither side has picked up a single point and their relegation to the SWF First Division was confirmed back on the 2nd October.
