Greenfield Football Centre, 30 October 2016, Kick-off: 2pm
Third-placed Glasgow Girls host Jeanfield Swifts knowing that they have to win to have any chance of winning the title. Due to their inferior goal difference to their title rivals, they require Hamilton Academical to lose whilst Hearts need to fail to win.
October has been critical in the title race, with Glasgow Girls facing both Hamilton and Hearts. In those two games, they picked up one point in a draw with Hearts. An 11-0 win over Inverness City helped their goal difference, but there is no realistic chance of their goal difference helping them in their title race
It was that period that saw Glasgow Girls drop away from being favourites to outsiders in the title race. However, anything is possible in football and they will be doing everything they can to win.
Jeanfield Swifts sit in fifth place and have a chance of securing fourth place if they beat Glasgow Girls and Hutchison Vale lose to Hearts.
A three-game losing run in September and October saw their hopes of a top-half finish dashed, but back-to-back wins against Buchan and Inverness City sees them retain their hopes of fourth.
So far this season, Glasgow Girls have won both games against Jeanfield Swifts.
