Lesser Hampden, 9 October, Kick-off: 2pm
Relegated Queen’s Park host a Hutchison Vale side looking to secure fourth place.
Queen’s Park’s defeat to Hearts last Sunday saw their relegation to the SWFL Division One confirmed, but they won’t want to finish bottom of the table. They have lost their past five games, during which point they have only scored one goal.
Hutchison Vale travels to Lesser Hampden with three points less, having been found guilty of fielding an ineligible player against Hearts. It means that they still need to secure fourth place, sitting six points ahead of fifth-placed Jeanfield Swifts. With three games left, they will need four points from their final matches to be mathematically secure.
Hutchison Vale has won both of their games against Queen’s Park in the league: the first 2-1, with the second encounter an 11-1 win.
Queen’s Park could climb up to seventh with a win, whilst Hutchison Vale with remain in fourth regardless of the result.
