HALF-TIME Hibernian 2-0 Stirling University

With Glasgow City winning away to Spartans, Hibs need to win today – and they are on route for that. It has been harsh on Stirling who started the game so well and had the ball cleared off the line before Hibs’ second goal. But the home side have taken their chances.

2 mins

Hibs has a corner from the right. Arnot’s delivery is flicked goalwards by Lucy Graham but nothing comes from it, however Joelle Murray does superb to win a throw.

Hibs gets the game underway. I’ve just noticed the home players have their names on their shirts. Nice touch from the club.

The players are out. Seconds away from kick-off.

Stirling, on the other hand, and are climbing up the table. After beating Rangers 5-0, they are now fifth and are looking to end the season in fourth place. They are not to be underestimated by Hibernian.

After Scotland’s magnificent win in Iceland, focus returns to domestic action once again. Hibernian has a hectic October to come: Champions League, Scottish Cup and crucial league games in the title race. With City currently 1-0 up against Spartans – Hibs cannot slip up if that result remains the same.
