Hibernian required super-sub Sarah Ewens to beat Aberdeen 2-0 and remain in the title race.
Hibs know they can’t afford any slip-ups if they are to remain in the hunt for the title, but as they did earlier in the season, it looked like they would leave the north-east with a goalless draw.
The Edinburgh side had to replace their keeper in the second minute with Kirsty Jefferies replacing Jenna Fife, but no side managed to find the breakthrough.
That was until Sarah Ewens was brought on in the 65th minute, and it would be her who would win the game for Hibs.
In the 80th minute, Ewens was sent through on a one-on-one and she beat Becky Flaherty with a smart finish. And then, eight minutes later, she had her second when Arnot’s cross provided her with a tap-in.
