Aberdeen pick up a crucial victory after a stunning attacking display which gave Spartans little chance. Apart from a couple of great chances early on in the second half, the home side offered little of attacking chances and Aberdeen showed more clinical nature.

Aberdeen do get their crucial second goal. Cheryl Anderson’s cross is poorly cleared by Jen Malone straight to Aberdeen’s Shannon McGregor, but whilst Cumings can save her shot – she can do nothing about Megan Reid’s first time effort that finds the bottom corner.
