89 mins

Hearts win a corner. Mason’s delivery is punched clear by Fleming.

Player of the Match goes to Ashley Carse. To be honest, it could have gone to any of Hearts’ midfield or front two, but Carse’s two great finishes stand out.

Accies break quickly and the bal falls to Gardner who shoots over from distance. Should probably have taken a few more touches

78 mins

Carse breaks drown the right and crosses to the far post where Mcalonie is unmarked. She controls the ball but sees her shot superbly blocked by Accies Number 2.

77 mins

Good news as McPherson is able to continue.

76 mins

Accies break through Lyle, but she’s never able to get the ball to another attacker.

76 mins

Hearts win a corner. Walkingshaw’s delivery is cleared to Mcalonie whose shot from 35 yards is well held by Fleing

71 mins

Accies win a free-kick near the corner flag. McGill’s delivery is cleared but not completely. Gardner delievers a great ball to the far post where MT McGuiness’ shot is saved by Watson. McGuniess goes down in a lot of pain and the physio is signalled on. Several Accies players are around her, and the forward is to her feet. Not sure if she can continue yet.

Just like last week, it is goalless at half-time. But the game has been more in Hearts’ favour this time. The home side has often been unable to link that final move together, whilst Hamilton have showed they can cause a threat going forward. Will this go all the way, or will there be late (in the 90 minutes) drama?

44 mins

Gemma Mason delivers a great cross, but it is just ahead of Brogan Anderson and the Accies keeper claims.

41 mins

Lyle does well to win possession high up the park and looks like she’s sent Lori Gardner through on goal, but the Accies’ forward first touch is too heavy

39 mins

Hamilton has another corner, and once again Quinn’s delivery comes to nothing.

38 mins

Hearts patiently buildup on the edge of the Hamilton box and Stacey Hutchison is set up, but her shot is straight at Fleming.

35 mins

Hamilton though, now have a corner. Quinn’s delivery is poor and is cleared. and Hamilton have a player down injured, I think it’s Amy Allen, yep. But she’s able to continue.

33 mins

A good move from Hearts sees Walkingshaw shoot from 25 yards just wide of the right post. The home side very much on top at the moment.

31 mins

Brogan Anderson wins a free-kick for Hearts, 20 yards from goal. Rachel Walkingshaw’s effort bobbles through to Elaine Fleming who makes the save. That’s the first shot on target for either team.

26 mins

Hamilton has a free-kick on the left. McGill launches a delivery to the far post, which Hearts clear and they launch a counter. Carse breaks down the left and holds the ball up well before crossing into the box where Hearts players are lining up, but Quinn recovers to clear the danger.

24 mins

Mcalonie plays Lyndsey Anderson down the right and into the box, her shot is going wide but Amie McGill blocks it. Lynsdey Anderson reacts quickly to try again but her shot is blocked by McGill. Great move by Hearts. The corner comes to nothing

22 mins

The ball falls kindly for Sam McPherson who tries her luck from 25 yards, and her shot just curls wide of the right post.

15 mins

15 mins in, neither side have really troubled the opposition’s keeper yet.

10 mins

Hamilton wins another corner, and this time Quinn’s delivery is better with Lori Gardner flicking the ball on at the near post, but Hearts deal with it. Quinn launches another cross in, but Hearts’ keeper Ashley Watson claims the ball.

7 mins

Hamilton wins a corner when Mhairi Lyle’s shot is charged down, but Megan Quinn’s delivery comes to nothing.

6 mins

Great play from Michaela Mcalonie to make room in the middle of the park before finding the unmarked Ashley Carse who shoots over.

5 mins

Hamilton have perhaps had the better of the early possession, but Hearts should have done better here. Lyndsey Anderson does brilliant to beat her defender and then whipped in a teasing cross that a Hearts player should be getting on the end of

Hamilton get the tie underway.

It should also be said that today is overcast and very windy at King’s Park. Will the weather play a big role?

In the two Scottish Women’s Cup ties on at the moment, Hibernian are beating Renfrew 9-0 at half-time, whilst Hutchie Vale are beating Granite City 3-2. Both games are at half-time

Last week, these two sides met in the league, and the game was decided by a last-gasp Gemma Mason penalty. Are we going to have the same thing happen again today?
