Aberdeen travelled down to Rangers under new management but they came back with a defeat, although there were promising signs that they could have a turnaround in results.

Aberdeen could have equalised soon after, but Rangers managed to clear the ball off the line.
Late on, Rangers won a penalty. Although Clare Gemmell had her effort saved by Becky Flaherty, Sarah Robertson was on hand to score the rebound.
