Carse wins the ball by the Hearts’ corner flag, runs towards the half-way line and then sends a superb through-ball towards Mason. She turns inside in the box and then curls the ball wide of the far post.
Corner to Accies. The first one is cleared behind, before the second goes out for a goal kick.
Accies are looking a lot more dangerous this second half. Lauren Kerr places a great ball into the box, and Inglis is unlucky not to get on the end of it.

Hearts win a free-kick, 25 yards from goal. Walkingshaw’s effort hits the wall, but she collects the rebound, tees herself up and shoots just over.
What a chance for Hearts! A long ball sends Carse through behind the Accies’ defence, one-on-one with Fleming, but the Accies’ keeper remains big and makes a good saved to deny the Hearts’ striker.

Accies has a free-kick 35 yards from goal, but Inglis’ delivery is claimed by Watson.
Inglis launches a corner, and it seems that Hearts’ Number 19 header has to be saved by her own keeper.
Lydnsey Anderson shows superb skill to make room to cross from the right, picking out the unmarked Brogan Anderson, but the Hearts’ forward heads over.
Lauren Gallen’s through ball finds MT McGuiness in the box, but she’s stopped by a magnificent sliding tackle from Hearts’ Number 19.
A bit of good fortune allows Brogan Anderson for the ball to fall to her, but she uses her pace to get behind the full-back but shoots wide of the far post. Soon after, Lynsey Anderson has a great chance, but she shoots just wide.

Hamilton gets the game underway

As I write that, Glasgow Girls go 2-0 up against Inverness.
Currently, Glasgow Girls are beating Inverness City 1-0, and they are about twenty minutes into the second half. If that score stays the same, the team that loses today will fall further behind the leaders. But, anything can happen in football.
