Hutchison chops down Sousa in a dangerous position. Forfar have a free-kick, 20 yards from goal on the left channel. Scott’s delivery is brilliant, and centimetres away from McLaren’s head at the far post.
Closest Hearts have come to a goal. Forfar’s keeper hits her clearance into Carse, the ball falls to Brogan Anderson, whose shot requires an acrobatic save from McNicoll to stop the ball crossing over the line.
Scott’s cross is spilt by the Hearts keeper, but the Hearts defence reacts quickly to clear.

Forfar get a second! Deans’ cross from the right wing is flicked back into the centre by Napier, and McCarthy is in the right place to pounce and score.
Forfar have a free-kick from 40 yards, but Scott’s delivery is dealt with by Hearts. Soon after, Forfar have a couple of heart-hearted appeals for handball in the box from Napier and Gallon’s shots, but the referee gives nothing.
Megan Paterson has an effort from 30 yards, but it was straight at McNicoll. Up the other end, Holly Napier tried her luck from a similar distance, but missed the target
Brilliant early cross from Brogan Anderson plays Carse through on goal, and as she tries to take it past McNicoll, the keeper gets enough on the ball to stop her scoring. Hearts are now playing two up front, with Brogan Anderson and Carse playing through the middle.
