So Stirling grab a vital win. Is that them safe? They are ten points ahead of Forfar now with seven games remaining, so it is likely. But, in football, you never rule anything out until it is over. Forfar will feel unlucky not to come away with anything, having had a couple of good chances.

Stirling win a free kick, 35 yards from goal. They line up on the edge of the box, expecting the cross, but Jade Gallon goes for goal with McNicoll making a good save low down.
Forfar could and perhaps should be level. They get the ball into Stirling’s box, the ball falls to Kirsty Deans whose stabbed shot is saved bravely by Logan. The ball loops up and the keeper claims it.
Jade Gallon takes the corner, Forfar clear and nearly launch a counter but Lauren Gallon recovers.
Stirling nearly get a second as Donaldson races onto a long ball forward, rounds the keeper and then sees her shot cleared off the line by Coulter. Great defending. But real concern as McNicoll goes down injured, holding her back. But she seems able to continue.
Forfar starting to get the ball into Stirling’s half, but yet to carve out an opening yet.
Forfar now has a corner but Julia Scott’s delivery goes straight out. Soon after, Robyn Smith plays a dangerous through ball into the box, but Stirling’s keeper Chloe Logan is alert.
Stirling has another corner, but this time, Forfar just manage to clear.
Gallon uses her quick feet to run through Forfar’s defence and she tries to set up Nicole Pullar, but Gemma Coulter makes the vital interception. Forfar yet to start.

This is a huge game for Forfar, who if they lose will be ten points behind Stirling. That would leave Aberdeen as they only really chaseable team.
